Washing up liquid has many uses when it comes to cleaning around your home.  Here are some of them.


Floor Cleaner
Fill a bucket with warm water and add a few drops of washing up liquid.  A great cleaner for your hardwood, laminate or tiled flooring.

Grease Stain Buster
A gentle cleaner for all your fabrics that really does work.  Rub some onto the area of stain and rub in with your fingers.  Leave for a few minutes then rinse with cold water.  Then wash as normal.

Fast & Effective Blender Cleaning
Quarter fill your blender with warm water and add a few drops of washing up liquid.  Now turn your blender on for a whizzy whizzy clean.

Kitchen Cupboards
Fill your sink with warm soapy water and using a clean micro fibre cloth, wipe down all your cupboards.  Washing up liquid cuts through grease in no time at all.

A Fantastic Non-Toxic Weed Killer
Mix together in a spray bottle, half a cup of salt, a few drops of washing up liquid and fill up with vinegar.  Then just spray over those unwanted weeds.  Do be careful as it will also kill the plants you want.  This is a cheaper way of killing those ghastly weeds compared to the chemical weed killers on the market.

Marble & Granite
The best way to clean natural stone is warm soapy water.  Just add a little washing up liquid to warm water.

The best way to clean windows is with warm soapy water and a squeegee.  You can also add a little vinegar for that extra help.
