Homemade Furniture Polish

Use 1/4 cup vinegar with a few drops of oil and poor into a spray bottle. The vinegar draws the dirt out of the wood, and the oil lubricates the wood so that it doesn’t dry out.

The best oils to use are those that have the longest shelf life. Olive oil works very well, although the best choice has to be liquid wax jojoba, as it never goes rancid and can be found in most health food stores.   Linseed oil is lovely but must be of food grade standard.

Lemon juice can be used instead of vinegar.

If you are going to use vinegar, organic apple cider vinegar is a good choice and white distilled vinegar is good too.

Now, get a dry soft cloth and get polishing!
